I sold my Testarossa, but kept my "06 Murcie Roadster.....wish I hadn't sold it, and I might be looking for another. The pics are great, makes me really happy that I live in Ohio, where none of my cars have been out yet, because even though the calendar says "April 16th", it was 34 degree's and snowflakes today !

btw, my TR sold to a guy from Miami, who I saw recently had it listed on Ebay

 

Like shamile stated for a 100k there’s nothing to compare for example a 91/93 diablos are 140 and up and driving wise I prefer the Tr

 

I just saw my TR was sold to Formula 1 Sportscars in Miami

The reason these old TR's are selling as cheap" as they are (on a relative basis to other cars in that dollar category), is the simple fact that they tend to be incredibly expensive to maintain and can be a nightmare to deal with maintenance wise. And a highly qualified mechanic that can work on these cars is usually many many miles away from where most prospective buyers live.
I'm the perfect example of that. I could easily write a check for one today. But I'm just too busy with work, kids, life to be dealing with cars that are so fussy maintenance wise. And the nearest qualified mechanic that could work on that car is at least an hour away for me.
Which is exactly the reason I have a 2015 Porsche 911 C4 'S ' as one my sports cars. Does it have the nostalgia of a testarossa? Of course not. But the nodtalgia tends to wear off real quickly when you are flat bedding a car and following it to the mechanic in hour and a half in each direction

 

Once u buy a well maintained one u will see they are NOT that hard or expensive to maintain.
Brakes and all that are cheap. Parts are rare but not that expensive. The major sets u back 6-8k true but just think about a 458 with carbon ceramic brakes ... the tr gets an unfair bad reputation for that.
Plus there are some good mechanics ready to fix those for much cheaper than the dealer. It’s flaws are charming to an extend to

Yeah I was smooth sailing, fully sorted car, on year number 7 after the major, car was perfect, then wham. Diff went. That's the only wild card with the car that can make it tough. Everything else is easy. The only other main weak point is the electronics which can be done for 2-5 thousand with the gold kit. We need to start a thread showing the mileage of the cars with the diff issue.

 

Thanks Shamile! It is a sad thing to sell your dream car, but I only put 400 miles on it last year. I still think the white TR is a milestone, and hopefully it will land with someone that will love it as much as I have.
