So, all I can think of is that Volvo bought DAF at one point. They were slow and did not 'belt' along. Didn't they modify one into a small Volvo? Total blank on your other 'hints'.
Congrats. Belt along, yes indeed, you nailed my hint. F1 driver- Van Doorne = the father of CVT, Narcissus aka Daffodils, gardening is my favourite hobby, cars/racing a distant second and again I was alluding to Narcissus = Daffodil, a Daf model for many years. Well done Gabriel, what a lovely Mazzer! You’re on deck...
I don't think it did in a direct sense, but the later DAF 77 prototype morphed into the Volvo 340 after Volvo acquired DAF.
You got to Daf first but you need to name the model also. There’s no hard rules but if you guess ‘Ford’ and the car is a 53 Comete for instance, your response is may be correct but far too broad. If you believe your manufacturer is correct, best to dig a little bit. If you have a look I stated the NSU and Talbot were excellent guesses, not hints. I would have guessed similar as there’s a familiarity between the Daf and a K70 or Tagora. I also advised my hint was located in post 8496, not in 8498.
Swore it was a Bentley with a concept back end. Trying to make the taillights, 911 ? Blocked out the insignia where an Italian manufacturer would place it. Wondering if the back is a retro of something from the 60s. Not a clue at this point. .
Hm... had not thought about it until you proposed a Rolls, and yes it looks rather imposing from behind, but not RR. Much smaller car.
Very very close... in fact, close enough Not a Ghia, but definitely a Karmann. The 1999 prototype. You're next!
That Karmann concept is awesome in its detailing. It would make a great Bentley or Rolls-Royce if scaled up. Matt
