This is the last manual M5 unless BMW turns around like Porsche does. BMW did their homework for this car. It pulls like its only 2000 lbs. Steering is precise and the torque on this bad boy on Sport Plus is unbelievable considering it is a Biturbo. Cant feel any turbo lag. Ill keep mine for my kid and he is expecting it already. Good luck with the sale.
Yes, f Yes for sure. In 'Economy' or even 'Comfort Mode' it is pretty docile, but once you hit the 'Sport' or 'Sport+' it really shows its Jekyll & Hyde Duo. Depending on how old he is I hope petrol won't be $10.00 a gallon by then. haha
I really like this color combo I would not have ordered it in a million years but now I just love it ... really cool
Any fuel injector problems? Had a 30k f10 BMW 550 that had to get the fuel injectors replaced. The manager of the service dept said it was very common for the fuel injector to 'fail'.
I drove this car on the track, well, not this one, but a tester. Amazing pull. The weird thing is that as large as this car is, it handles an autocross track like a champ. The brakes are very strong and do not fade. The acceleration is locomotive-like. It feels like it will pull past the redline until it blows up. In fact, I had 4 people in the car on the autocross track and did my best time!
I’ve got a 2014 550i and could swear I saw a letter in the mail the other day about BMW extending the warranty on the injectors to 120k miles. I’ll see if I can find it. If so, some added piece of mind for the next buyer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk View attachment 2519757
Hmmm, nope! The fueling seems fine! I've put it through its paces and and always consistent/smooth rowing through the gears.
Hey jtkeller on that injector thing, my 2013 335is has been dropping warranty extensions for awhile. I believe the injectors were one of the items, so you may be right.
Hello everyone. After some research and calling Encinitas BMW with the VIN, they were able to confirm that this F10 M5 is covered under a 10yr/100k mile extended BMW warranty in regards to the pesky Fuel Injectors. So this would mean that this car is covered until 2023 or 100k miles in regards to the Fuel Injectors. Hope this clears up any concerns! Image Unavailable, Please Login
