Dan- She definitely needed a lot of work.
Dan , what color code has this car ? I always thought my car (that looks the same color) whas Tour de France...but I'm not so shure anymore .. Guido
The color code is Tour De France. Your paint code should be under the front hood. The only other blue I've seen is non metallic pozzi
Front bumper disassembled for damage repair. Prior paint work evidence discovered. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for confirmation...my paint code is missing. You say paint has sufferd because of acid rain ! Is this paint original and is it normal in that region ? Or whas the clair coat allready changed before ? Guido
Post a picture I'm sure we can figure it out. Acid rain is not typical like that in our region. Most cars are protected with routine wax.
The bumper was painted 2-3 times before so we chemical stripped it for a fresh start. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

The door dent had a scratch in it so we couldn't get away with just paint less dent removal. The dent was pushed out, scratch primed, and full door sanded for clear to avoid blend lines. I wish I was on even the same continent as you guys, my 612 would benefit so much from this level of detail and attention. Finding anyone at all outside of the Main Ferrari Agent here is all bar impossible, plus their quality control is considerably less than stellar
Amazing how rough this 612 was for not being all that old, really. Thanks for sharing all of the pictures! On the blue colors, the common ones are TdF and Pozzi (non-metallic). I seriously considered ordering mine in Swaters, like my 456, but try as I might I couldn't see the difference in the paint samples. So I saved my money and went with TdF. Of course, you could have ordered any color you wanted, including any shade of blue.
I know it's the owners decision and the work is clearly first class but I'd question whether the cost of this work brings the total well out of the "value" of a 612. I had one and loved it but prospective buyers were hard to find.
Thank you thats very nice of you to say. If you ever need any tips dont hesitate to email [email protected]
