Spoke to her once over the phone about the GKC. She was very nice and helpful.

Have spoken to Dave, Chris and Jenni a time or two by phone, hands-down, some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Heartbreaking to hear of their loss...

Love this... her kind of spirit makes me want to go out and pull my engine just to learn how to do it.

I found it interesting that she discovered the factory cam timing marks aren't always 100% accurate.

Great article! So refreshing to see there are still people out there who still "get it". Read it with my 10 year old daughter who loves to wrench on things. :)

I had given upon Jalopnik awhile back due to their juvenile writing and antics, this article makes me want to give them a second chance.

I 'got ya' by a few miles. :D

I and at least 2 other F-Chatter/Customers live in Germany.

Dave even helped me over handy-phone real-time video (Whatsap IIRC) one night with my car. A World's Master looking over my shoulder and guiding my wrench from over 9000 miles away. On a weekend, no less.

    What can one say?

    Just awesome folks.

I remember, a few years back, purchasing some the the last of the Taylor igintion wire he had for my QV. He did not know me but must have spent an hour on the phone with me discussing all things electrical including his development of the gold connector kits. A wealth of old school knowledge that puts him in a class of very few. Love the fact that his daughter will carry on the business !

I cried reading this - I lost a cousin to alcoholism when she was about 32, I still think about her.
