Hey guys, my oil pressure sender is bad (yes, it is the sender and not the engine or oil pressure).

Has anyone else had this problem with their V12? It is a driveline pull to replace it (so 18+ hours I am guessing.

Would a 2013 with 7K miles be under warranty for this issue?

    Thank you.

3 year warranty from time of first sale, so I doubt it..

    Bummer. Thanks.

Looks like this may be only a 12 hour job! ;)

I will get it done in my shop. Center exhaust out. Driveshaft out. Cats out. Bell housing out. Replace sensor.

    Reverse....

Starts out saying "low oil pressure", stop vehicle. Then, after a while, the low oil pressure light flashes red (the flashing indicates a faulty sender according to the owner's manual). Based on the fact that the sender will often show 70psi on the display when the car isn't running, that makes it definitively a bad sender.

I got the $300 replacement part yesterday and will begin pulling the driveshaft and bell-housing (which Ferrari erroneously calls the transmission tunnel in the Workshop manual) to replace the switch.
