Avorio!!
McLaren Chicago has an M6BGT on display currently. Certainly worth checking out if you’ve never seen one before.

That's not far from the airport. Was it just shipped in? I used to see Lamborghini's being driven from warehouses in Elk Grove on Route 83 all the time.
We pick them up crated from one of the airlines, uncrate them and provide space for them to load on the car carrier. Pretty sure the red one (first posted) is the last one made.
And sometimes uncrated like this one was just off a KLM flight at ORD. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I remember this car from a few years back. my brother works at ohare and sent me pics. it had do not push signs all over it. man those are some awesome pics
One of my best spots on a regular street was of a truck with a green Miura and orange LP400 Countach on it. That was on R83 in Elk Grove coming from O'hare. I almost drove off the road looking at it. I have seen some really interesting stuff on warehouse roads. We get a lot of very cool unseen stuff around here due to ORD(probably trying to stay away from NYC airports )
There appears to be another Ford GT in the area This one (wonderful spec) was in for protection film at the detailer I like
Way back when, around '99 or 2000 we had one of the BMW LMR V12 prototypes in our warehouse strapped to an airline pallet. Also around that same time we were referred to the Ferrari F1 team by Alitalia to haul all their gear down to Indy for the first of those 6 or so races at the Speedway. IIRC, we moved everything but the cars.
They used to have a storage area for Alitalia outside so you could see what they had when you drove by. For some reason they shipped a lot of Alfa/Ferrari showcars to the FIAT test facility in Michigan, so always something interesting coming in. Never forget when the entire Lancia Delta Martini and Totip rally team cam thru one year, including support trucks. I have slides of them somewhere.
Lancia Corsa team Martini Delta being unloaded at ORD back in the late 80's when I was a kid, being flown back from the 1000 Lakes Rally. The entire team and support vehicles were shipped on an Alitalia 747 from Chicago back to Milan. This is when they still allowed FIA rally's in the USA. Image Unavailable, Please Login
