CONGRATS! fantastic car indeed. The fun is that's a car from Autoluce, that is here in Modena and I know the owner, Mr. Ranucci.

    ciao

    Simply stunning....

Not being a killjoy but noticed in the toolkit photo the emergency window crank handle is incorrect for a vetroresina (Its a QV type) and the glass cars never came with the red battery carry strap in the toolkit either, that's from a late 308 QV/328 toolkit!

Cant wait to see the car complete in more photos

Thanks everyone for the compliments, Michael Call in Salt Lake City was responsible for the restoration from start to finish and did a wonderful job!

Albert, it would be interesting to see if Autoluce still has any information on the car. I'll try contacting them. They likely sold it in the early '80s.

Grim Reaper tr, thanks for the heads up regarding the window crank and battery carry strap. I'll make sure to get the toolkit sorted before the car gets judged next year.

Was offered post sale - now would appear to have been sold as removed from that section of Gooding’s site.

Was selling after completing the restauration your objective Ward ?

Great price for a great car, but I presume that after (as stated) spending 200 k it has not been a real money-maker.

This $320k price temporarily shown on Gooding's website was an error. A post sale deal was struck at $250k. Not the result I was looking for but that appears to be the current market value. The car is absolutely stunning in person and has to be one of, if not the, nicest Vetroresina anywhere.

19055, no I did not set out with intentions to sell the car when first purchased. However, as I started restoring the car it seemed like the only proper thing to do was to do everything, correct and to a high standard. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of restoration but with two young children at home priorities and interests have changed over the past few years.

Beautiful car and congrats on the sale! Question concerning the suspension setup. Looks tastefully done and lowered to a nice level, what adjustments did you make to achieve that look?

    With regard to suspension height:

This car was not lowered in any way. When I ordered the Konis, I specified what car it was going on, and they confirmed that earlier cars had slightly different specs to later ones. If you look at period photos of these cars, you will see that there is nothing unusual about the stance of this one. USA cars (especially the GTS) have a higher ride height.
