I would be careful with a plate of that size because it might reduce the cooling of the engine quite significantly, even with those vents.

It's all a turbulent mess back there without the pan. I wonder how much air it actually gets stock... But with the smooth pans upfront, air is clinging to it and now gets scooped right into the engine bay with this new rear pan.

Nice meeting you yesterday and talking Mondial. Your Coupe brought a lot of attention. Fun day!

Nice to meet you too Allen!

Forgot to post this. Added a drain valve in the front with nipple so I can easily drain without making a mess. The engine block side was a disaster because everything would clash into the exhaust header so I got this valve with banjo bolt, its super stout! It's a quarter turn lever, just flip it and out it comes, no more coolant flying everywhere...

Discovered the Mondial has power locks, didn't know that since there's no lock button like modern cars Haha. Decided to fiddle with the linkage as to why I can't lock the passenger side. Got it working from the inside and electrically from the driver's lock but still can't get it to lock with the key on the pass side... Replaced the moisture shield though, old one was hacked on with a variety of double side, black duct, and some purple tape.

You can only lock them from the drivers side....passenger side not.

I meant I cannot lock the pass side door with the key. The linkage inside is sloppy/binding.

It is the Fumoto F106SX, I got mine off Amazon but you can get them all over the internet. Prior to this I had a silly M14 to NPT adapter - 45deg NPT coupler - to petcock stack, looked ridiculous... Wish I took a photo of that.

I've seen that most cars of this era have single sided ignition keys. Anyone know why mine is double sided?
