    Hi all-
I just purchased a 2016 FF which does not have paint protection (Bra). Expel offers a kit for the 2015 model year FF but does not list a kit for the 2016 model year. My question is, is there a difference in the front hood, fenders, and bumper from 2015 to 2016 model year?
    Thanks! Stew

I have a 2016-04 made FF, as far as I know nothing in the front has changed.

Agree with others: my 2016 was fitted with Xpel on nose hood and front fenders. Never any comment about fit issues, and am pleased with the result.

Yes, a seam across each corner parallel to the windshield, because the pattern does not match the curve of the back edge of the hood; but done so well it is barely discernable, and I am a former concourse freak and it would bug me if they had not done it well. As with all such products, the installer is the key to success, so make sure you have seen his work.

Thank you Veloce12, you confirm what my installer says. My installer is perfectionest, so lets see how it comes out. My FF is Bianco so hopefully the seam(s) will not be visible at all.

A one piece FF hood may not be in Xpel. Different protection company film come in different sizes.

Xpel is good, but it's thick, so you are going to see some wave (you'll see wave in any of the protective films). SunTek is thinner but has a better finish and is easier to apply. Xpel has more of an orange-peel effect, but its thicker and has better protection from larger rocks.

Premier used ClearGuard Nano Film and coated the clear bra with Nanolex Si3d HD. Supposed to be about the same thickness as XPEL and 3M. They mentioned the largest roll is 60"
