as soon as we all see the astral car(not a computer animation rendering) Im sure we will all love it. I can't wait till Motor Trend reviews it and their hot shoe Randy Pobst thrashes it around Laguna Seca/ Big Willow Spring

 

Another day without official site public video presentation....uff

 

I like that the stripe does not run down into the front bumper lip as it did on the Speciale, but instead recesses down into the scoop, and then comes out again down below. This is a nice improvement. I also like that the interior carbon fiber appears to have a matte finish instead of a gloss finish. I prefer the matte finish.

 

not sure if this is too soon but............any new rumours on the new 812 GTO HAHAHA

I want to see official video with car on track and aero features, improvements, performances, the atelier movie is good, but I want to know what's under the skin

I love everything about it. The style, the lines, the stripe, even the name. Do wish it had a hair more power and downforce, but cannot wait to spec mine .

 

Really? New strategy? Two hardcore models for 488? I remember the 458 didn’t have another road legal track model after 458SP, I mean the F12TDF was the only hardcore model for F12, but 488 is gonna make another road legal hardcore model after 488Pista?

I could understand if not your cup of tea or if you compare to the Ford GT, as has been done, but to say it outdoes the Mc, with its bug eyes, "swoosh logo" headlights is not really on. If Ferrari ever decide to male there headlights look like a promising horse, I would agree with you ;-)

I suspect the 488 LE is the 488 PA (Pista Aperta) as has been the case with earlier models.

 

Ok just saw presentation . Car looks way better in video and performance numbers see really really good . I was impressed !

Maybe tomorrow morning Ferrari will post another teaser (this time for the Speciale) and the full reveal in the afternoon?

 

The car looks better than I had anticipated. I hope it SOUNDS better than anticipated as well.

 

I get to see it here in NY in about 4 hours so doubt they will show to the public before that is completed.

 

Well, then is nothing new, just the convertible version of 488Pista, they will probably introduce this car in September Frankfurt

aperta will maybe follow already this year.

first deliveries in 2018. but who knows. also a lot of 812 where standing around but missing one two pieces from some supplier.
i see myself in 2019 in a Pista. and on 9th sitting in it at Geneva.

300kg is better than 200kg.... but those downforce numbers are... ACR Extreme: 775kg at topspeed (but based on fix aero its „just“ 270kph), Senna 800kg, this are downforce numbers.

videos were ok. but nothing superspecial or super nice details well explained. just a gross introduction.

lets wait for the price.
i guess 240t€ netto as base.
