im getting the calibration needed warning. The owners manual says to turn the engine off and use the left tft screen to calibrate. But there is nothing there. I can’t find the sub menu. Is there a special trick or is it time to take to dealer and have them figure it out?
Oh crap - I went through this exact thing this summer with my buddies 458 and I forgot how I got it going.... If I recall correctly, I had to drive the car as the sequence only "initiates" the calibration. I look thru the manual later and see if I recall what I did.
See attached. You need to turn key to position II and then page thru the menu. But as I said prior - you will get a message say the calibration is activated but you need to drive to perform the actual calibration (I believe). Image Unavailable, Please Login
just checked, its in the left hand display, settings, all the way down below "service", there i got TPMS. Engine off, just the ignition switched on
Thats the problem- Im not seeing that on the left screen. Oh well- Ive got an appointment set up to take it in. will let the dealer figure it out.
Sorry - my buddies car is put away for the winter or I would do a video for you. From memory, I needed to play around to find it myself.
Have to check Mel. Not sure the version. Mine is a 2016 GTB however. Has been in for normal service in the 18 or so months I’ve owned it.
Just an update on this for others that may have the same predicament- I took it in to the dealer cause the calibration menu was not showing up at all on the left screen. Apparently you have to turn off the front sensors (a small button on the roof) and then the other options show up. Nowhere in the manual does it say this - At least I couldn't find it. So once I turned that off, a bunch of new menu items showed up including calibration. Whoever wrote the owners manual on this should be shot.
Ah - that's nuts. My buddy's car does not have sensors (IIRC) so that's probably why I got to the menu...
