I'm sure Alex has all the service records and provenance on this one.....NOT!! Wow, talk about an unloved car with a tough childhood.
Wow! It looks like BHCC picked up this QV out of Dallas recently - https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1984-ferrari-mondial-spider-c-8180.htm . It was crashed and rebuilt with 3.2 parts. The car had been for sale in the Dallas area for several weeks for $18.5K obo... 2cam Image Unavailable, Please Login
OMG That was painful to look at. but then while looking at it secretely did you think about how to completely take it apart and refurb it
The '89 t cab on BaT (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1989-ferrari-mondial-t-cabriolet/) just sold for $45,000.
$45k for a well sorted, low(ish) mile, 300 HP, convertible, 4 seat, mid-engine, Enzo-era Ferrari is a phenomenal purchase. I'm not selling mine so I don't care deeply one way or the other, but I am amazed at the low prices of these rare and fantastic cars.
Don't forget the buyer has to pay a 5% "buyer's premium". So the all in price is $47,250. Regards, Jerry
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1989-mondial-t-coupe-us-spec.568147/ In case no one ventures to the for sale sections, looks like a nice drivers t coupe, with speed line wheels and tubi exhaust.
Sorry sir! Coy's is dragging their feet on the final results! Here were the estimates though. 1986 FERRARI MONDIAL 3.2 CABRIOLET ESTIMATE £25,000-£30,000 1981 FERRARI MONDIAL 8 ESTIMATE £25,000-£30,000 1982 FERRARI MONDIAL 8 ESTIMATE £25,000-£35,000
My Mondial that I sold about 10 years ago is up for sale. Just happened to come across it. Says 2 owners. More than that as I recall. The $25K in service and repairs sure is right! Pic is from when I owned it Description for Ferrari Mondial 1982 Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce to you a 1982 Ferrari Mondial 8. This exotic car is one of the 703 models made in that year, it is a two owner car and has a clean carfax. The vehicle has only 41k documented miles on it and is in pristine condition. Comes with all receipts as well as original window sticker. The car is finished in the color Rosso Corsa Fer 300 with black leather interior. For its age it is in great condition showing no signs of rust or any sort of weather damage. It has always been garage kept. Although, t is in almost perfect condition due to its age the side of the diver seat the leather has little tears. This car has never been restored and all numbers are matching. The previous owners have spent over 25k maintaining it, and I have documents verifying that. For any additional information, pictures or questions feel free to contact me at [email protected] or by phone Lenny. An extra set of wheels, books, tools, all key set, and car cover are included. http://classicvehicleslist.com/ferrari/100909-1982-ferrari-mondial-8-base-coupe-2-door-30l-low-miles.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 9k mile '89 t is now on BaT. Perfect timing IMO as we are now beginning to see these cars commanding good money. I have a feeling this one is going to do well. The naysayers had their chance to get in cheap, now they're going to regret their decision.
It should be informative. I predict a high bid of $56,000 which based on the car's ebay activity is below the reserve. What do you think the high bid will be Alex, or anyone else?
It's already at $48,500 (w/ 6 days to go!!) Wow!! I can't believe it, at a time when the f-car market is soft we're seeing EXTREMELY(!!) strong Mondial prices!! Could it be that the Mondial finally(!!) getting her day?!
Last year NO WAY would I have said a Mondi would/could reach 50 grand (minus the extraordinary low mile, concourse condition example, and/or special feature, e.g. valeo). Based on the bidding so far this should clear 50 grand easily. Only 9k miles though; that certainly a number, imho, that "involved." Still great news for Mondi owners; a sad day for the want-to-be owners (me!!)
High Mileage, T Cab, Salvage title. Anyone feeling lucky? Pics look normal. Asking $15,950. https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/20019289
I'm pretty sure this car has been around for years...I believe it had bad quarter panel damage at some point. I think it's worth $10k for a part out, but maybe a DIY - gambler would give it a go!
Not shure here....have the impression it whas dropped from the third floor. That chassis seems to be pleated. Front and back seem to be higher than the middle. Guido
It is an easy fix. It is still behind the body shell chassis begins. I cannot imagine that this damage is the cause of the title that it has been given. For me this would be an interesting car, but it is not on my continent. I don't see really visible chassis bents besides the rear bumper is not lined up, but that can easily be the mount as they are thin like a piece of paper. Not sure if the engine/transmission is in good state. The say "it drives" that is a very wide understanding of that the car moves on its own, but with what sounds and hickups?
