i am starting to think that the only possible reason ferrari have intentionally "raised" their cars is to make room for improvement once they have their lightweight scuderia versions released???

Has anyone has any issues with lowered cars that the lift system throws lots of warnings and error lights? I am waiting for my car to be delivered, but the previous owner says it has a light on for the front lift because he lowered it. Anyone else had this before?

Image Unavailable, Please Login Here is my 2013 Italia. Just dialed the springs down. Don’t forget the alignment. Have to use spring replacement if you have a front lift.

I lowered my 458 myself - 15mm lower in the front on the stock coil overs; just turned the collars down. Has to build my own spring compressors though :)

multi-link suspension - by its design - pretty much holds the alignment constant thru travel. Just lowering a few mm isn't going to have much of an impact

Per my dealer, after production at the factory, they actually raise all the cars delivered to states. Also confirmed they will lower my incoming 488 Spider if I choose to and it is not hard thing to adjust. But told ride will be harder than the 488GTB I had that I didn’t lower.

In my opinion to do it right...Novitec springs standard 20 inch rims with spacers gets you the best look and handling

Have the dealer lower the vehicle. If the dealer knows what they are doing, you can ask them for Speciale alignment which gives the car a little more aggressive camber which improves corner in and out of turns.

Oengus that looks absolutely beautiful. I've been thinking of lowering mine and really love the stance on yours. Do you mind sharing the manufacturer of your wheels. I've been searching for something similar.

If the car has front lift it will not be adjustable through the factory suspension. For cars equipped with the front end lift we use Novitec springs which lowers the car and you do not lose the lift function.

Measure the front clearance with both the front lift fully up and fully down and subtract about 30 mm from each number. That's the drop that you can expect from the Novitec springs and it will give you a good idea on whether or not it's acceptable and tolerable for your usage.
