Gooding has a 355? That's really interesting to me. They don't typically consign "low rent" cars. (that's for you Johnk)

And that white GTS at RM? 35k miles. Been offered around for sometime. Was on eBay last November. On Craigs list October of 2016. Hemmings too. We'll see what it brings.
I was actually looking at buying it a few years back. It needed work at the time. Now, no reserve and $120,000 - $140,000 estimate. I suspect it will sell at $89,000
'The 348 TS series special at Bonhams went for $60.5. Estimated range was 90-100. So much for more sophisticated auctions. The money wasn't in the room.
I have the correct carbonfibre SS seats if the new owner needs a set Deduct 10k since they are missing
I watching that #1024, Grigio titanium. I’m tempted as it’s identical to the one I use to have. Several went last week at Mecum in the $55k-$60k range that were decent examples.
People will always want a deal. If no one elses bids thats what it gets. Doesnt matter ifnit is worth more. Auctions to me dont set prices they set whatever isnthe price that day at that auction for that car.
Seems about what I would've expected. Maybe a tad light give the mileage and recent service - though it's unclear what constituted "serviced by marque specialists".
Optimistic? Don't get me wrong, it looks like a nice car. But a $120-140k estimate wasn't remotely realistic for that particular car, unless one presumes a lot of auction frenzy. Even $89k, IMO, would still seem a bit frothy.
Anyone see the result of these yesterday ? https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/AZ18/Arizona/lots/r205-1999-ferrari-f355-gts/616328 https://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1996-ferrari-f355-berlinetta/
Looks like the red 1996 sold for $64k plus fees so $70.4k all in. And as Claudio said the white one sold for $95.2k all in. Check out the app called Hammer Price - it keeps track of all auction results
