Just got this from the local framing shop, Image Unavailable, Please Login Here is the digital version if you want it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Gary (Framed pic looks better in person, bad lighting..)
You're welcome...enjoy ! ( my print guy was able to increase the dimensions of the off-white border before he printed my copy, made it look a bit more centered. ) Gary
Ever wish you knew what a brand new 400i engine looked like ? sitting on a dolly outside a building in Maranello ? How about this one ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Gary
Thanks Gary, just needs carbies and another distributor - you knew that was coming though didn't you .
Wayne, I could see that coming, but, if ALL of our cars were carbs and sticks, yours would not be worth as much $....Hah ! Besides, I like mine just as much as you like yours, even if it is FI and auto...we are all crazy together ! I could not find any factory/new images of early carb motors at all, found these on Ferrari's own site. Just think about every single car in our family, at some point in time, someone, somewhere, popped the hood/bonnet open and saw a BRAND NEW engine there, a salesperson (or the new owner), sat down and turned the key and started it up...... Jim, it does look shiny, doesn't it....! Gary PS: the first engine has a shiny oil fill cap, like mine, the second engine cap is black ?
Dave...same cutaway view ? Different version ? I found mine on the Ferrari site, downloaded & printed. Gary
I'm not sure where I got that. I bought the print like it is shown, didn't add the logos. I've had it quite a while. I seem to remember I scanned it before framing it. I'll have to poke around and see if I still have it.
Hello Erik ! Welcome ! This must be a record of some kind, a member since 2009 and this is your first post ? We are truly honored.........Thanks ! So, since we have multiple of the black/white prints, it would seem they must have been commercially available at some point, and then someone added color to the 3/4 view plain copy, dropping the logos. Any history on yours ? Where ? When ? The search goes on for more 365/400/412 art, thanks ! Gary
I got mine in 2013 - still in their tube! We're building a barn so will get them framed soon. Mine have the yellow shield.
Hi Gary, I have a few of these posters and one I have is clearly old. I was told they were used in UK dealerships. wow...post count is really moving now...lol
