Anyone need a Testarossa Diff Carrier? I've been using it as an expensive paperweight on my desk since it was never used because I replaced the whole diff.

I can only imagine anyone buying an upgraded diff ... if you want your gearbox fixed.

Any money for an oem or old diff would look a waste of money to me ... or ?

You would not install that in your own gb I hope ?

LOL yeah that's why I asked where it came from. I'm not interested in an original or OEM. :)

    Mel,
The Newman diff. uses original internals, so the only difference is it wont fail.

I completely rebuilt gearbox with new 1st and 2nd gears and Newman diff. Works great. any TR with noisy 1st gear is suspect.

Unfortunately the buyer of the diff carrier isn’t a member of Fchat. I sold this carrier to someone located in west palm beach. The diff carrier will be going into a 1990 Testarossa with 45k miles. The owner of the vehicle noticed a puddle of oil under his car, he got it towed to his mechanics shop to look further into where this oil was leaking from. Turned out to be gear oil seeping though his LH diff carrier. His diff internals are still all intact, therefor he will be replacing his diff carrier as a preventative.

when there is oil leaking from the left diff cover - not from the seal - then mostly this cover also is broken
