Good day All, Just adding doc on Chassis 21111 as requested by Ruben http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144668773-post19.html Overall it looks like a nice "clean" car with a great interior! Sadly no real description is given and it looks as if the car is in the process of being sold. As I mentioned earlier, I emailed for price etc before listed as "deal pending"...yet never heard from dealer. If anyone does find number, please post! Thank you, Jack
Sale must have fallen through as it doesn't say sale pending anymore. Price is listed as $89,500 which seems pretty fair for a carb'd V-12 Ferrari.
Good day All, Just adding a screen shot with the current asking price: $89500 USD Cheers, Sam Image Unavailable, Please Login
I kept telling tire kickers and people who were looking...."Get them now. The days of a nice $25k 400 are ending soon and won't return." Woo Hoo! I was finally right about something!
Only that when it went through a Cole auction in 1997, it was noted as having rust bubbles in the left sill, fair paint and worn original interior. Clearly it has been restored since then. David
Jim I think the number is closer to 1 of 4 or 5. I've got one, there's Faber in Texas, there's a VIN on the register that seems to not be this car and??? I suppose if they get $90k it will motivate me to get back in the garage and fix some nagging issues!
I think I could easily put 30K into my car to make it really nice. If I knew it could sell it for this kind of money I wouldn't hesitate to do it.
Jim, remind me to check the sale price on this car in January! http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24452/lot/42/?category=list&length=10&page=5
That is one clean nice car. Will be really interesting what it sells for, but it is probably one of the best condition cars to come up for sale in quite a while.
Back in May 2016 this car (chassis 21111) had repeaters on the rear wings, now on the Bonhams pages these repeaters are no longer visible.
