I looked and could not find a detailed procedure for a Mondial T engine out removal, so here it is.

Step 1: Turn off battery at the front trunk right hand side, twist the knob clock wise
Step 2: Remove Engine Lid, 10mm socket, 2 person job to make it easier. Remove the lid shock as well.
Step 3: Remove metal tray under the, screw driver and 10mm socket.

No pictures here but these are pretty simple steps.

Step 5: Drain coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator pipe, at the front of the car. It looks like this below. Also drain the coolant at the engine block, right above the shift cable connections. That will make a pretty big mess.

Step 6: While you are under there, disconnect the two shift cables by removing 3 M6 nuts and bolts. Drape the cables to the left side of the car and tie them off to a bolt somewhere. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Step 8: Disconnect the two AC hoses right at the AC compressor (you should have evacuated R12/R134 before this) It takes 22mm, 19mm wrenches. Remember to replace those Viton rings

Step 14: toward the very front of the engine in the engine compartment, disconnect the clutch line and plug up the fitting with a brass fitting.

Step 16, left side of engine, disconnect the smaller power steering hose to the reservoir, then remove the reservoir from the frame, and drape it over the engine. Use a vacuum pump to suck out the fluid before hand, but be prepared to catch a large spill. 13mm socket.

Step 17: Left side of engine, at the very front of the subframe, remove the vacuum reservoir that looks like a large can of tomatoes. Then you will see the hydraulic line for the power steering. Disconnect that. It needs a 22mm wrench and a 17mm wrench. Use a towel to catch the spill. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Step 18: Rear trunk of the car, remove access panel. Disconnect all connectors for the two cable harnesses and feed the connectors to the engine bay. You will need to figure out the sequence of what connector to go first. They cannot all fit at the same time into that hole. Have fun.

Step 19: back in the engine bay, disconnect the two shock control modules and remove them from the top of shock towers. At the bottom right hand of that picture is a heater hose, disconnect that too..

At this point the engine is ready to drop from the car. These steps depend on what kind of lift you have, or don't have. There are 16 bolts at the front of the subframe, 3 nuts over each shock tower, and 4 large bolts toward the rear of the subframe to remove and the engine drops away. I did it on a 4 post lift. I had a really hard time with the left shock tower due to flexing subframe but eventually I got it out after removing the shock.

And here is the sucker on the floor.

Although I don't wrench myself, and hopefully speaking for the entire Mondial "family", thank you so much for this!! Surely an invaluable guide. Forza Mondial!!
