Are they all running driving cars now? I recall a sunbaked light blue one in CA someplace; and another missing the mechanicals somewhere in the Rocky Mts. Is the market that strong that it now makes sense to bring these cars back from the dead?

The sunbaked car, a series 2 with manual gearbox was for sale in Austria in early 2016, with running mechanicals and no details on history.

I see one being parted on Ebay, but I think it was a crashed car. There aren't that many in the USA so parting a car is an exercise in patience. Perhaps several have been exported, they seem to bring better money in Europe.
