Noted. I see more options than just preview, but because I'm admin like you said.

Maybe we can make more options say "Preview and more..." and it automatically shows preview on more options page

 

Mobile still having issues, logs out even though selecting stay logged on. Pics are thumbnails and god forbid you click on it, it opens a page that immediatly closes then logs you out and you can not log in, requires a restart of the app which is a PITA when you've got a number of tabs and then when logging back in it requires logging in via the requested desktop site on mobile.
No idea what is going on but the mobile version is far less stable in the last couple days.

 

Can you change the order of the thread action buttons to move "Upload a file" to after the "Preview" button? I suspect that reordering would allow Preview to appear on the main main and would relegate "Upload a File" to be under "More Options".

 

Upload file is important and encouraged, won't be hidden, but we can consider adding preview

 

I agree, I didn't realize that "Upload a File" is new Fchatese for "Manage Attachments".

I started a thread today and noticed these issues which aren't in the "booker bug list". You can't have "f1" as a tag (minor issue) and you can't allocate a smilie/emoji to the thread title (I might be the only person that used this feature ).

Also the smilie has a different face to what it used to represent.

 

I'm another that chose old style. The new look makes my eyes cross...

It's almost back to normal now if you switch to old style, Rob and the team have been working hard to listen and accommodate most ppl request, I am totally fine with it now

 

Yes, thread tags are on the list. Sorry about thread title smilies, not sure if we can bring that back but we can look into it. Yes, smilies are different, just takes getting used to

 

i have not been able to find out how to locate the "advanced search" function

Old theme, upper left menu "Search Forums" click it and you will get advanced options

have you tried the "more..." button next to search button

 

When you click on the search field (magnifying glass icon at the top right of the page), a pop-up will offer some basic options (usernames and dates). At the bottom of the pop-up there is a Search button and a More... button. Click the More... button for advanced options.

 

How do you go back to the old style?

 

On the new style, lower right corner you will see "Ferrari chat - new" click it and choose. If you are on old and want new, it's on the lower left corner.

 

Much better. That red was an eye sore.

 

What's wrong with the new style. I think it's ok. However I've never used the old desktop version. You'll get use to it. Quit living in the past people. Haha.
Only thing I don't like is no tapatalk yet. I live on ferrari chat on my phone so tapatalk is far more convenient.

 

I absolutely HAD to use TapaTalk for FerrariChat and other sites Before switch.

Though other sites implemented Xenforo long before FC, and for the same reasons, they definitely do not come close to what FC has achieved in a week.

So, for the other sites, I still HAVE TO use TapaTalk. Not FC. Really looking forward to the remaining bugs being squashed, improvements in store, and of course, what is done with separate Mobile platform, whether it is TapaTalk or another.

Remember, kiddies - Even if it's Retro - It's all about the long run.

 

I'm not sure if it's me or not. But I used to get an email notifying me if some one had sent me a private message. Today, I logged into F-Chat and there was a notification that I had a PM ... but I never received an email notification.
