I was told $350 per pair. I picked up a set of Porter field pads when I thought this was just a brake pad issue. I may get new rubber lines as mine are old and cracking. We will see how my calipers turn out. They look pretty bad now.

Plating is the only answer I will accept to not bug you about doing it yourself. :)

OH, here we go! Now it's Vette boy. Hmmmm. No respect, No respect at all I tell ya!

You do a little whoring around in a Corvette and all the sudden you've been knocked down a few notches and people start giving you the stink eye.

(((Mumbles, kicks the dog, and walks out the room)))

Scott, I would have loved to do it myself, but once I saw how bad they were I knew that I had to do it right. I will be posting pictures of the suspension and brakes. I found some rust that concerns me, so I will be taking everything apart this weekend and powder coating and painting pieces.

Here is a link to some pictures. I need to figure out how to upload from my phone without a computer.

The calipers are a bit crusty.

Yeah no worries. I guess I'm lucky. One of my most worthwhile tools is my media blast cabinet. Clears rust in a heartbeat. Plating too....:(

The car had a ton of issues, so I figured rebuild everything. The suspension and brakes look great and should function well.

I have made all new steel lines running from the caliper to the rubber hoses and I replaced the rubber hoses. So the only things not replaced or rebuilt are the long metal lines.

Because it seems like I would have to take a lot of parts off the car. I don't know where the long lines run. I'll take a look when I can of the layout of the lines and consider it. I have the flaring tool so I could make them if I want to.
