Does Paris (or any other major city) have a policy to restrict certain old cars to be driven on public roads in certain area of the city(such as centrral district where traffic is heavy)?

Or is there any restriction at all for passenger cars?

Outside Paris, no pb of any kind, excepted the respect of the Road Regulations and Safety.

But having the (free) Waze app. on your smartphone will help...

Classic cars which are more than 30 yo, holding a "carte grise voiture de collection" are exempted from the ban and can circulate in Paris.
