Does a Single Guy With a Ferrari Ever Get Married?

I hear the absolute worst are Smart car owners. Those guys NEVER get married.

Couldn't tell you, I just turned 35 and am on my second one... never married (no kids either) and you bet I messaged a few members here and received some incredible, honest, and very timely advice regarding marriage, even from those that were married more than once.

Most of my friends and family have no idea I even drive a Ferrari, I have it for my own enjoyment without ever having the need to advertise it.

Getting married isn't nearly as hard as staying married... that's the part I truly am trying to get the most knowledge about. The high divorce rate is a constant reminder of people maybe not going through sufficient character investigation when knowing the significant other.

 

I am so lost....what kind of question is this?? What are you trying to analyze?

 

14 years. And 3 Fcars later.

Perhaps it helps if you marry a girl that will only drive a stick and loves top down motoring.

 

Another questions following on might be :how many guys had to sell a Ferrari to pay off the ex missus?

Why would you ? The Ferrari is all you need in life.Total happiness with no complaints and it still cost you a fortune to date.

 

The only thing more expensive than a wife is a divorce. A Ferrari is not close to being that expensive. Married twice. Never again. Lots of Ferrari's.

I don't advertise it but I don't care who knows I own it either.

 

Sorry but anybody that gets more satisfaction from a Ferrari that a great wife & kids has issues. One great wife for over 40 years - 5 Ferraris. Married about 33 years before buying first. It is a lot cheaper to have many cars and only one wife!!!!!

If you want to impress a girl, don't buy a Ferrari. Buy a Mercedes or better yet today some hybrid.

Completely agree with that and I tell people that all the time. You could say that about wealth in general. If you get more satisfaction out of money than a great wife and kids than you also have issues.

A Ferrari is just a toy, like so many others. Your family are not toys.

Get your Ferraris before you get married. The last thing you want to do is spec out a Ferrari that "also" meets your wife's needs.

I had this discussion with an F car dealer salesmen once. I asked him about "walk in business" -- you know, some guy who just walks into the showroom and buys a used car on impulse.

What he told me was interesting.

He said a lot guys who walk in and plunk down $250K for a car for themselves ALSO buy a new Maserati for their WIVES at the same time.

So I guess the saying is true!

 

My wife specs out her cars. I spec out my cars. I pay for both!
