I wish I had that. Looks perfect. I'm under the weather, Rummaged and only had canned lentil soup. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Poor Jason! ☹️Nothing better than chicken soup as comfort food. Hope you feel better soon! T
Made some home made spicy teriyaki on Monday. Pretty tasty stuff and still eating the leftovers. Tossed it over a little jasmine rice. Yum.
Sambal in the sauce. When I cook I just sort of dump stuff. It usually comes out ok somehow. Soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, brown sugar, black pepper, little touch of sesame oil, and dump some sambal in to spice it up.
Are you back to the land of the living? Hope so. Or more deep rummaging thru the pantry? Edit - guess you are, saw your martini in the other thread! Looks nice.
I had a taste and that's all - still feeling funky. This bug just won't die! This made me laugh, I had to buy it today. Lol. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
At least you have your sense of humor. Do they sell these in Canada? Image Unavailable, Please Login Feel better soon. T
^ Where the heck is that? Google hit on Eastland. Wife and I did a BBQ run in the opposite direction, Chucks Country Smokehouse. Way out east of Dallas. On the outskirts of Carthage. Near Lake Murvaul. We shared a two meat plate - brisket and pork ribs. It was good. Best part was the peppery bail on the ribs. Yummy. Image Unavailable, Please Login T

^ Wife and I used to stop in Eastland all the time; it was the last Starbucks before El Paso! 500 miles to the west. Then, they closed the Starbucks. ☹️ Now, we may have a new reason to stop! T
Cream of root vegetable soup. Had a bunch of celery, 2 turnips and two carrots in the fridge, not getting any younger, so I rough chopped them, diced some yellow onion, usual spices, simmer in homemade chicken broth for about an hour. Blitz with a stick blender. Add a bit of cream. Enjoy! Image Unavailable, Please Login T
I have been reading and seeing all of your dinners with more than a little jealousy. I finally had an oppty to get to the kitchen today (been grilling chicken, steaks, corn all summer) and made some pasta: Penne with Spicy sausage tomato sauce Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thank you! Tonight was salmon burger wraps. Grill, slice up, put on a flaxseed wrap, goat cheese, and a healthy dollop of peach datil pepper salsa. Doused the fire with the remainder of a bottle of Douro. Image Unavailable, Please Login Yummy. Is that an heirloom tomato to the left? T
