If I was going to be there again I wouldn't want to go to Hershey again. I think one of the 2 other proposal would be nice.

We have a host volunteer at NC beach or mountain area yes? The other options would not have an organizer in the same way?

Doc G should not pay for a single drink or event ticket at this reunion in my opinion.

The cute beach town is nice. We were there for Valenzo's birthday. It's like a smaller and nicer ocean city. Nice hotels on beach. A couple days of salt spray won't kill us. <just jinxed a dozen mondial I know>

I think the poll is mislabeled; isn't it supposed to be "Mountains / NORTH CAROLINA" instead of "SC"?

My bad David, I cant update the poll now but lets just say vote for Mountains!
Do we have anyone that would like to host at the mountains?
Just a thought, whether driving or towing your car to the mountains will definitely put a strain on engines, over heating comes to mind with no garage around. Just something to think about if your car breaks down!

    Cheers,
    Mike

    Good ideas, gentlemen.
I will be driving my Mondial to the Palooza, so mountains remain my preference due to proximity and the fabulous roads. I suppose I could be a co-host in the Smokies, although I do live 700 miles away. I am familiar with the area from recent times & years past.

That sounds horrible. Different strokes and all, but we won't be going if that's the event. The mondial group was a very close knit family thing. If it's wrapped into a large event I'll let you guys represent.

That came across as much more miserable than intended. Sorry.

I'd personally prefer mondipalooza to be independent from other Ferrari events. I am sorry for sounding like ****** about that. Didn't mean it, and then Read what I wrote and gasped.

Lol no worries. I think you just channeled your avatar. :) It's actually part of a larger fun event our town puts on annually... lots of kids events as well.

Looks like a great event. If the mondials aren't there I wish it much success. I'm very sorry for my response tone.

Statler, I think it's cool. Once on F'Chat I wrote something at about 3 am, & when I read it the next day, I was embarrassed ... it happens.

All roads lead to DFW. Specifically west side.

    We have a track.

    Motorsport Ranch

    We have entertainment

Billy Bob's Texas - The World's Largest Honky Tonk

Prices are low, people are friendly, centrally located in the nation, weather is great. Seriously, aside from Amarillo on I-40, the DFW area is within driving distance of everyone except upper NE. I'll buy some ribs and beer.

Mine's not road trip worthy right now. I remember reading about the first MondiPalooza a long time ago when I had just sold the 308.

If mine is fixed up right, I could potentially do NC/TN.

Of course, we have an excellent mechanic here in the Denver metro area, and great views with great roads!

I won't vote just yet, but I could help with coordination if CO does end up being viable for others.
