I took a video of trying to start my car. https://youtu.be/Mu3Ni_Ti60k F430 starter pulses on/off and car won't go into gear. The car starting sound is normal other than the pulse on/off, i.e., much louder than it sounds in the video. F1 pump sounds like it primes normally when door is opened. System check at start shows good. Idiot lights are normal until you push the start button the first time. I don't see any fluids under car or any obvious leaks in engine compartment. I have not taken the undertray off. Any ideas what I am dealing with? Ediff solenoid? Car is a 2006 with about 20k miles. David
It was the battery. I trickle charged it for 8 hours and it cranked normally. I will replace it this week. Thanks again.
