  1. No and yes, so to speak, as far as I gather. Without reading deep, I surmise the only "Offenhauser" at Indy was the four banger.

    Here is the Lola Alfa in 1991 at Road America. The motors were good on short ovals but not that great anywhere else. The Italians had a hard time adjusting to the different fuel. I heard some wild stories about connecting rod failures from some of the people at Patrick at the time.
