Yeah, that sounds corrrect. I really enjoyed the rear seat practicality though, even if it's just used for storage space.

They probably do make good first Ferrari's because of the price.

I would estimate around $90k although I don't know if they're selling for quite what their worth.

GTA's, regardless of MY are not bringing big money ie: 70K USD, at this time. The right 456M GT's can and have brought 100K+ and the early all gated 456's are in the 60-75K range.

I agree with that market color on the GTAs having recently sold one.

The winning bidder did not meet the reserve (I was the winning bidder:))

I'm in process of responding to second chance offer.

Hope we can work it out. Love this car.

Great looking car in the blue color. What did the service work, and parts, cost to replace all the valve guides & other work? You might want to post copies of the service tickets, that might help someone to purchase the car, seeing all the work that has been performed. GLWS!

Brady was great on sending me extensive info on this car... if it wasn't for an unexpected and hefty expense that fell on me over July 4th, I'd have already paid for a PPI and made a competitive offer to him.

Timing couldn't have been worse... hope it's still on market in 6 months, but I do wish you sincere GLWS :)

Thanks guys! Yes I love the 456M.

Here are 2 of the major receipts for the service that's been performed on it, the valve guides were purchased from Eurospares so the prices are in Euros but I've put about $15k total into the car since I purchased it. I have over 50 pages of receipts so it's a lot to upload.

Good luck Brady. I hope someone scoops this beauty up soon. Maybe I'll see you at the next Cars and Coffee with the 430 once it gets here from *****************!

Unfortunately. The car is still here and I already have remorse!
Merlin has been great to deal with though. Once I have her I'll come by the shop to share specifics. The 430 is getting a PPI tomorrow.

Now let's get that 456 sold!

Uh oh, sorry. Glad to hear at least the buying experience is going well. Feel free to drop by anytime. I can check clutch life with the Leonardo if you don't get it on the PPI.

Yes I emailed the fellow in the above post the records yesterday, hopefully it sells before too long.

The car is still up for sale. It appears 456's aren't selling near my asking price any more, I'm going to drop the asking price to $60,000 and I'm still willing to negotiate. I'm also considering another auction for the car.

here is a piece of unsolicited advice from somebody who just bought one.....

remove the after market shields. they are misplaced, and not factory, and to a knowledgeable buyer they are glaring.

next piece of advice, put the car into the next reputable auction near you. put a reserve on if you like, but be realistic about the price, which in my opinion is 10k less than your target.

    OR keep it.

Thanks, I appreciate your input. I am looking into an auction but I don't know of any local ones open to the public. I may consider keeping the car as well at these prices. As far as the shields go, I own a Ferrari repair shop and I have seen the factory shields on dozens of Ferrari's, they are not in their factory location on my 456 but they are factory shields, I've also had about 10 people interested in the car and not one of them has even mentioned the shields. I'm also apart of a local Ferrari group of about 20 Ferrari owners and none of them have even noticed the shields being out of place. A knowledge buyer would also know that the shields could be removed if they desired. I'm not trying to be rude but I thought I should mention those things since it's been a major topic on this post.
