I'm in between the previous posts.

Looks great IMO from almost all angles, but that rear is literally and figuratively butt ugly. Possible rays of hope? 1. The driving reviews seem very, very positive. 2. You can't see the butt from the greatest place to view a Ferrari, the driver's seat. 3. I'll probably never own one!

Watched video review from uk that made excellent point. F12 and even tdf had trouble putting power to the ground. Very difficult to drive. 812 has even more power but much more useable due to advanced electronics. Electronic steering 'helps' mere mortal drivers control oversteer.

Despite that, I find c pillar scoops ugly. 308 dino and huracan have same look

Having seen it in flesh, I am still trying to understand the design. I rather prefer the F12 smooth contours.

Hmmm. I saw one last week and liked the appearance much more than the F12. In any event, I'm sticking with the 458/488 line for now.

Be careful what you ask for.

All those nannies that help you drive the car better also means a less connected car. Improving driving skills is a cheaper, better option. ;)

Overall, I prefer the F12 - with some improved steering feel.

true re connection to car but once get to such absurd power #'s, its not really a matter of driver skill anymore. no hpde or 'race school' is going to make you able to handle that amount of hp.

I remember jc on old top gear saying f12 was impossible to handle and hes got good car control and can drift almost anything. that's not good. so if want 800 hp you have to accept electronic nannies to help put power to ground

Thought it looked hideous on pictures. When I have seen the actual car I must say that it is actually really good looking. The launch spec cars suck though. It's a car that needs to be option heavy

I've never driven an 812, but it looks to me like it fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

now that ferrari has started to imitate corvette, its probably time for them to admit they need some pininfarina back in the system....

I've heard several on F-chat proclaim the same. I look forward to seeing this car in the flesh.

Maybe they need to call Pininfarina. I'm sure there are more elegant solutions to the aerodynamic requirements than those vents on the rear fenders and that horrible rear end. It ruins what is, imho an otherwise sleek design.
