I woke up my stratos from hibernation today. Unfortunately, I could only drive it for 15-20 minutes as I needed to drop it off at a local shop for maintenance. Still, it only took a couple of minutes to be reminded what a great car it is. It's so nimble and immediate! My daily commute is 65-70 miles but after a few minutes in the stratos it felt as if I hadn't driven in months - such is the difference in driver involvement with my standard issue commuter BWM...
Stratos Zero in Michael Jackson's moonwalker. Etched into my memory as a kid. Along with the 20 exhaust tips dripping fuel. Drool.... I think the exhaust tips were added for the movie though
I am desperately seeking a well informed and reliable, trustworthy Lancia Stratos Rallye Car historian. Is there anybody out there? WHO can be recommended? Please contact me via PM. Thank you very much. Marcel Massini
Marcel, you need somebody who can piece together a cars racing history or person who can inspect a car and reliably identify if it's original/modified/fake?
