    Hello Folks,

So, we have been refinishing mostly Ferrari's but recently we did our first set of Maserati Buttons - see attached. Note, these were done for a fellow F Chat member (Thanks Jay :) )

Note - these are not decals, they are 100% laser etched as they were done by the factory.

As an owner of a 2008 GT, we will be doing my own car soon. But, like a shoemakers who's kids have no shoes, not sure when I will get to my own parts :)

    Thanks for the heads up.
The testimonials on your website from recognized names is impressive.

Was never satisfied with the work of the so-called great expert in this field I have used in the past!

    Regards.

This is a phenomena that I've never been familiar with though I'm not surprised it shows up in fussy high end Italian cars. I would have expected this in my Biturbo but no!

That is until yesterday ... As I sat in my old 99 Suburban and noticed that the rotary headlamp switch looked kind of funny. I touched it it was soft and if I picked at it a bit it would tear away and fall off so I put it all back in place. Time for a new switch ...

I guess the soft feel switches all suffer from this over time. My Suburban does sits outside in the sun a lot so there IS that.

The use of soft touch coatings started in the early 90's. It's not just Italian cars, it's TV remotes, computer mice.....heck - my hair dryer I bought a year ago has it :)

That looks good for people like you but what's point of it on that 3200 center vent and thumb wheel? Is the thumb wheel soft touch covered?

The entire vent assembly including the thumb wheel is soft touch from the factory - we don;t refinish with a soft touch, we use a hard touch that will never fail again.

Here's a short video of the GranTurismo Gear Position Indicator getting the graphics re-applied via our laser etching process:
