Hello Everyone, Does anyone have a suggestion about where and how to put a 400i automatic up for sale? E-Bay and the auction companies do not seem to treat these cars fairly. I have had 48473, an 1984, for 7 years, have fixed everything and may have put on about 2500 miles in all that time. I think I am doing the car no favors letting it sit and would like to find it an appreciative new home. It has 52785 on the odometer, new TRXs, exhaust, wires and distributor cap and runs like a watch. It is located 150 miles West of St. Louis and about 100 miles East of Kansas City. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Greg Image Unavailable, Please Login
Additional Photos have been requested and here they are. I have a short video of the car running but it is too large for the Forum. Greg Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You could advertise it here on FChat (of course!), place an ad in Ferrari Market Letter and investigate some of the online car ad sites, such as autotrader, cars.com and Bring a Trailer (not just for trailer needy cars anymore!) but the place that got me the most traffic when I sold my 400i 4 years ago was Hemmings. What are you asking?
Hello everyone, just ran into this thread and wanted to share that I purchased this car from Greg Highmiler. The car is wonderful, Greg did a great job caring and fixing all the gremlins that these cars are know for. I want to thank Greg for selling this wonderful car to me and for him to know that this car is in a good home and its being driven and enjoyed.
Welcome Ricardo. Love the silver on red. You may consider refinishing the bumpers back to black though as original.
Welcome Ricardo! Beautiful car with a wonderful color combination! Did you purchase it back in 2017 when it was posted for sale or just recently? Also, I noticed you’re in SoCal - is the car CARB legal? Enjoy in good health! Ruben
I should clarify one car that had factory painted bumpers--the Greg Garrison car, 400i 5-speed sn 50807. It was a special build car with a few other interesting changes, including a larger hood vent section and black painted swage lines, among other things. Image Unavailable, Please Login
