Just got notified that my Spider is Status 30. That means they skipped the 20 notification, which certainly indicates that something in their notification system is messed up. With my GTB, the dealer received consistant notices at every stage. Still very exciting to see it move along.

My 488 Spider Ferrari.com page notifies there is a production photo in a red font, but when you click it there is no photo. My dealer said it is still red 10.

My dealer also received several cars without window stickers, seems to be a problem.

    1) Interesting that all these non window sticker cars are from Florida

    2) Dealer checked the status today given I got 2/3 of the photos and he said I jumped from 40 to 70 today. Likely be here in first week of July -- 3 months later than expected but better late than never.

Clearly the factory was having some issues with production (maybe the 70th anniversary cars I heard as a possibility were taking precedence?) as we are thankfully seeing a ton of production cars pouring out which is going to make for an awesome summer of driving. @footsoldier, love the car and color (TDF?) with black and dark forged wheels and black calipers?

Thanks, and yes - the summer is coming at a good time this year!
Car is Blu Scozia/black with diamond cut wheels and 'Nero Lucido' callipers

(Need to check they've put the correct wheels on, looking at that pic!)

Funny you should mention this. I was at the factory two weeks ago and they explained on the tour that the tires and wheels in the production photos are not the final set. They are used for test driving and are changed before shipping. That was told to our group as we were standing with about 8 freshly assembled cars in the production building.

Here's my production picture from this morning (also have this going in another thread). I'm glad you mentioned the wheels. I also have 20" forged diamond rims in my 488 spec and I'm not sure those are the rims in the picture. If they are, could be just the angle of the photo that's distorting the visual.

As a comparison, below is the production photo of my '15 California T with forged diamond rims. The rims in that photo appear to be correct.

I sent an enlarged pic of wheels off to dealer this afternoon, so I'll no doubt be getting this explanation tomorrow!
    Thanks...

@footsoldier I think the rims you have on in the photo look awesome
With that color combo. I agree they look like the dark painted forged (not diamond) but IMO I think it looks awesome especially with the dark blue and black accents. I personally wouldn't change a thing!

yes there would appear to be lots of cars appearing at the moment...think my car will be 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule, which is good as given the thread I was concerned it would be late and fall foul of factory shut down!....But alls good!

Production timelines are interesting. I've always heard 6-8 months once you receive an allocation. Me - my order was submitted February 10th and my car arrived in New Jersey early this week, according to my dealer. It should arrive at the dealership sometime next week. Pretty quick, but I'm not complaining. Happy for everyone.

I ordered my 488GTB in London back in July 2016. I was told a year for delivery, which was comparable to other Ferrari dealers timelines within the UK. Received my final production photo on Friday. The US must get preference with the factory being Ferraris biggest client.
