I would like to see an actual video of an actual SCG003 Stradale do it, and not just a deduction. I believe his claims are credible, but deductions are deductions...

The polesitting car got rear ended when another driver didn't see a yellow flag... Sucks for them...

704 ran P1 until the first round of pit stops (6-8 laps in) started to shuffle the lead around.

The accident with the Merc cost them about 15 minutes. Until 704 dropped out of the race (I think during the last third of the race; I was in bed when it happened), it ran as high as 12th (IIRC), and essentially never dropped from being a lap and some change back from the front runners.

The Merc that ran into them sustained a lot more damage. I think it was in the pits for an hour.

Not sure why 704 didn't finish. Haven't heard anything from Jim on FB or in the media. 702 finished, but had a fuel issue that forced them to pit earlier and earlier as the race went on, so the car dropped further and further back.

EDIT: The Nurburgring's highlight real video shows in car footage of 704 going through a double right hander (not sure the name of the track section) and losing control in the middle of the second bend. Car looked stable. Not sure if it was driver error, something on the track, puncture, etc.

Does anyone have any info (perhaps JG himself) as to when production on the stradale will commence? Also any truth to the rumor of a 500-600 hp version priced around $350k in the works?

The lower HP car is the next SCG model, I think it will have an all new design, but it's a few years away.

I like it, but it would look way better with a lower roof life. That hump is too high imo to look good, but I'm sure it's that way for interior space and safety.
