Another stellar weather day at VIR and a very close racing in several classes.....Race 2 grids formed by fastest laps from Race 1; so the starting grid jumbled a bit. Close races with no contact all weekend and the winners were:

    355: Rene Zemp

    360: Ken Marlin

    430: Alfred Caiola

    458: Roland Veit

Most of our racers hadn't been to VIR before and all agreed, as I knew they would, that this was an amazing facility, great new pavement, incredibly challenging and that we need to have it on our 2017 schedule!

    We had a great weekend....

Alan, I went onto Race Monitor app today and checked results. Despite terrible weather, those darn guys still threw down seriously fast laps! Low 1:50's for the 458's, but times were right around 2:00 for race #2 when I believe the track was wet.
