    True but a Patek is very similar to a Ferrari - a (very expensive) limited edition hand made piece of artwork that can be used and cherished.

    I don't mean to say it's bad value for money, it's just losing it or having it stolen is of dire consequence, that said I'm sure most owners have them insured!

    Probably similar to buying a Ferrari without a PPI and finding out it needs a new engine. For those of us who actually do our diligence.. we just laugh at the silliness of others.

    Like I laugh when people buy their watches from Tourneau ( Not being insulting, more of a full retail price). I would love to know their conversion ratio.
