From my research, it seems Coburn owned at least 3 Ferrari's, but this is all i know about them...

1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder #2377 GT
    196? 250 GT Lusso (year/chassis #?)
19?? 308 GTS (year, variant, chassis #?) I think this car was silver.

Wondering if anyone can fill in the blanks, and if he owned any other Ferrari's. He was obviously a fan.

Did he also own 250 GT SWB 2445GT?

If you google "James Coburn Ferrari" the first 5 black and white photos are from the Forza article, and color photo of him sitting in silver Cal Spyder.

I was a valet parking attendant in Los Angeles back in the late 70's, early 80's. I recall Mr. Coburn showing up in a 246. Don't recall the color. I do recall that the ash tray was overflowing from cigar ashes.

When I owned the Nembo (1777GT) I took it to a shoot for a whisky ad at Coburn's house. Parked in front of the house was the California, also blue.

I seem to remember that James Coburn hosted/narrated a single TV program on Ferraris and Exotic cars back in the late 70s. There was a 250 LM in it that I thought, wrongly, was his. Anyone see and remember this?

In 1975 or 76 when I lived in Bad Godesberg Germany a German tv show showed one of their crews interviewing Coburn in Hollywood and he took a cameraman for a ride in the Cal spyder on Sunset strip, with almost no traffic, revving it nicely, I was 11 or 12 and that made a strong impression:)

I see the GT in the Dino search. All I recall about the car was a really big mess of cigar ashes.

Parking at homes in Bel Air, BH and Hollywood during early 80's was really amazing. The cars, the parties and the people. This was Hollywood pre-AIDS. Wild parties. Big $$ parties. Mick Jaeger let me drive his rental ford. :)

I parked quite a few parties for Fleetwood Mac. I recall one of the band members showing up regularly in a Ferrari that I cannot confirm. Was either a 275 or a GTO. That car I never drove. Not sure as I grew into my fascination for Ferraris years later.
