Disappointed with how gt3 rs drives on track. So I ordered 488 spider for fun track! car. Also, got tired of waiting for Lusso build slot. Lusso has to wait for another year after this spider. Beautiful car enjoy! Buy the GT3 RS is a better track car than 488 Curios as to why you are disappointed??
GT3 RS is too much of a grip machine. I don't do lap times or 'attack' the track anymore. I lost interest of doing that. Instead, I do sideways whenever possible, and sideway is the only reason I do track days. GT3 RS despite what Chris Harris showed us is not easy car to drift. Upsetting the balance of the car is very tricky because of the grip level it has. So, I am loosing interest of doing sideways with RS. AS for many other comments, I drive to track, do sideways, and drive back. So focused track car is out, but I wouldn't lie telling I didn't look for it. I considered GT4 Clubsport as dedicated toy but I feared it would sit in the garage after a few months. Racing seat is not comfortable enough, and I dont need that much support from the seat anyway. I might keep RS and Spider until Lusso comes and sell RS if Lusso is drift car...even sell spider maybe....
Gorgeous spec, can't wait to see her in the stable and some footage on the track. Let me know if I can help get her to its full potential when the time comes! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJrq0t3KhfY[/ame]
Nice! Only comment would be feel like the way the 488 will transfer weight means the Racing Seats are kind of a must - but appreciate your description of why you do track days. 488 is definitely stupid fun and over the top with systems off, not sure a car has ever me so wide-eyed.
I keep seeing these images pop up with nice confirgurations....These are different to the online configurator are they don't by the dealer on there atelier configurator ? and sent to you>?
Done by dealer, saved as PDF. Even this doesn't show the whole options such as italian flag on the rear hood. Ferrari should spend some more money onto their system so we all can enjoy 360 degree rendering as Porsche does.
I had racing seats in F12 and 458 spider, and they are not for long drive at all. I have racing seat in tdf and it has height adjustment option with it but still is not comfortable at all. Unlike common bucket seats, Ferrari's recent racing seat has flat angle and this kills the purpose of having bucket seats so that your hip is secured into the seat bottom with tilted angle and knee higher than hip for more natural support. I was about to order bucket seats for tdf, but the price let me down. I find normal seat is more comfortable, and has much everyday support for body.
