The car has been restored to its 1965 Targa Florio livery as colour pictured on Maurice Louche's book Emotion Ferrari (page 357).
Girardo & Co's advert in the March 2017 issue of Octane magazine (page 50) show the car in their London showroom sporting this livery.

It will soon be fully restored. It came out of a major collection based in Switzerland.

Badly wrecked and rolled at least two times.
What is left of her original body and original frame?
Looking at the photos it must have been a painstaking task to get the car back on the road again.

Isnt that pretty much the norm for 250LMs though? I know there is a handful of very original ones, but the bulk has been badly crashed, many have burned and several are pretty much 99% new. The original content in the average LM is significantly lower in the GTOs I think.

    Maybe Schlumpf car most original....?
I have seen complete rebodies in Italy for real LM's
In 70s-90s it was often cheaper and easier to rebody than to restore that very thin alloy sheet metal.
Nowadays all want original and patina, but how many of those race cars have an original body or even 50%....

When it sold to previous owner, and I was in the room, this car sold for roughly half the price of a very good one, the one JG had sold in Maranello few month before. So at that time market was already capable to make the difference between cars and very good cars ( the GTC one).

Of course there are the even more questionable cars with bits and pieces split between different cars, we have seen that for D types and LM, and those even if eventually got certified are even lower in food chain.

And then there are the very good cars, probably 5 to 7 of them that have never been severely crashed, even if their racing history has been less stellar. Those are my preferred cars, but it is not everyone's taste. But such car holds the record of highest auction price, and market is capable of making a difference. And of course the most interesting are the Schlumpf museum and the Le Mans winner for different reasons.
