As part of the annual deep clean, opened up the rear light cluster and found that the one of the reflectors is damaged (bottom right). Is there a replacement (the parts catalogue has only the complete unit, and even if available, seems an overkill) or can it be repaired? Thank you.

There are services that do that but last I heard it was still quite expensive. You could clean it and paint it silver.

You can also clean it and apply hvac foil tape over the reflector.

On the hot rod I painted gloss white, and it works really well.

DupliColor Instant Chrome 11-Oz Aerosol Spray Paint

That amount of oxidation is typical in a country where it rains alot and the car is still driven alot and put away wet in an uninsulated garage...
Then I looked at your hometown...

Thanks very much for your suggestions gents - super helpful as always.

Yes, she is indeed a driver and I have had the pleasure of nearly 20k unforgettable miles. Unfortunately, even a dehumidified garage doesn't seem to help with trapped moisture. All I can do is to maintain her as best as I can.

All (512TR) lighting components are -if available- getting unbelievable expensive.

These units go for amazing/crazy amounts of money ... if even found. Like the 512TR/M foglights ...

Better DIY indeed ... show us HOW you did that please, it may happen to us too soon :)

I had my 512TR completely redone at Ferrari of Houston 1 1/2 years ago. When they removed the tail lights they were in very sad condition and I had no idea. So in addition to the new front fog lights, and a new windshield (Last factory one with antenna from Ferrari SPA) I also had to purchase both tail light assemblies. I couldn't believe how expensive they were. But if you want a perfect car...

Agreed. The spare parts availability for these cars now is such that restoring may soon be the only realistic option unless you strike it lucky on a breaker. In my case, where only the reflector is bad, it also seems a shame to "use up" an entire new assembly regardless of cost.

Interestingly, the factory is investigating some 3D printing routes for getting some plastic and soon metallic parts back on tap. Some independent shops are already turning out some high quality pieces.

Indeed but the repro-light covers Testarossa and 512TR are not as nice/good as oem imo ...

You will imo never get a "Classiche" that way ...
