I'm contemplating buying a car that has white leather seats. In addition to the fact that I don't really care for white aesthetically, I want to keep the leather as clean as possible, so I might want to use seat covers under some conditions.

Here's my question: What kind of backing should the seat covers have that will not scuff or abrade the leather on the seats they're supposed to protect?

    Thanks.

PS: In case you're wondering, the car in question has more than enough positives to make the white leather palatable.:)

White/Crema leather is beautiful. Don't cover it up. Just treat it well, and keep it clean.
    Show it to the world.
