    It seems that 0300 was listed in an advert in Classic & Sportscar Magazine ('CSC') at the time of OP starting the thread.

    I can't speak for Philippe but the similarity seems to be that both were early 50s coupes which were rebodied later in the 50s as spyders (in the case of 0117S, the rebody was in the style of a 121 LM).

    I suggest you consult the hardbound BOOK that has been published about 0300 M.
    It has tons of period pix and restoration shots as well.

    It is rare for a volume on a single Ferrari s/n to be published.This is why I am interested in getting a copy to add to my considerable collection of Ferrari literature. Thanks tonga's crew
