Is there a good R compound setup for the 360 Starfish rims that avoid setting off ASR while running in sport mode?

Already have extra set of rims on hand. Would like to track the car in sport for awhile to get acquainted with the car.

Any advice from those with experience would be very much appreciated.

Just get Bridgestone RE-11 tires in OEM sizes. They are very grippy for street tires and predictable at the limit. They are close enough to R compound without the drawbacks.

RE11 is NOWHERE close to a R Comp tire.

I run with RE-11 on my OEM Starfish 360 Wheels at the track.
I also run RE-11 and RE-71R on my BMW at the track.
Based on these experiences I have the following opinions.

The RE-11 provides audible feedback as you approach its limit.
It has been a good value and reliable option.
Drive in sport mode and ASR only engages if I take too much curb.
Has been a good option for learning but as others have said not close to an R Comp.

    The RE-71R is super sticky.
Have been told by right seat instructors that it is the closest thing to an R Comp.
I have been able to drive faster than others who have more car just because of my tires.
    The audible feedback is minimal.
The tire wears quickly - really quickly, costing more $ per track day.
Not available in OEM size for the 360.

I noticed the RE71R's are available in OEM size for the front, but come in 275/35/18 instead of the OEM 275/40/18 for the rear. Can anyone comment on the effect the lower profile tire would have on ASR, etc? Has anyone ran this combination on their 360?

OK, so I overstated the RE-11s, but they are quite good.

Is the RE-71R the Bridgestone analog of a Sport Cup 2? I see Bridgestone recommends against use in colder temps.

I have found that any summer tire does not react well below 40 degrees. Driving on dry pavement at this temp feels like ice.

Would also like to hear if anyone has tried the RE-71R in 275/35/18 for the rear.

I ran toyo RA-1's and they were pretty good with a stradale spec alignment. I also ran Hoosier's one time, but they needed much more camber than that. They were fast, but corded in one day. It's been a while, but I think it was the ratio of the front to rear diameter that was important in not throwing off abs or traction control. Toyo and Hoosier were the closest to factory at the time.

Let's make sure we are all on the same page.
The OEM Starfish size for a 360 Modena is
    Front 215/45R18
    Rear 275/40R18

Here in NJ I source my tires from Tire Rack.
Their listed options for OEM size in Ultra High Performance Summer are:

    BFGoodrich --- G-Force Sport Comp-2
    Bridgestone --- Potenza RE760 Sport
    Bridgestone --- Potenza RE-11
    Kumho --- Ecsta PS31

I've been through the RE-11 so which if any of the other three is better?
