the 330 GTC reg PLN 222 E , was owned by me in the mid 80's, beautiful car bought from a Mr Thomas in Chiswick , London W4 in September 1984 for £9500 ran it for a while but because it smoked a bit was advised to sell it,only to find out a little later that it was quite normal to smoke a bit !! sold it to a Mr Farrah in Sheffield in December 1984.....wish I'd kept it ! it was listed in the Ferrari register....

Car is #12827, completed at the factory 28 August 1969. Blu Dino Metallizzato 106-A-72. Originally a Maranello Concessionaires demonstrator that had been airfreighted from Italy to the UK. 16 October 1969 first registered in the UK. See also 7 February 1970 issue of "Motor" magazine article titled "Ferraris: We drive them all". Jack Bruce of the pop group "Cream"was an early owner after he had crashed his 365 GTC on the A6 in Scotland. 12827 later went to Australia, Dr . Marcel, wonderful that you should post this, as I was curious about that car. I Googled the license plate and got most of what you posted. Thanks for chiming in. I heard that MC gave Jack Bruce the Daytona to make amends for the crashed 365. Seems that he was claiming that the steering broke and they were none to pleased with that claim.
