If you ever spent anytime looking for Ferrari parts on E-Bay, you, as I do, come across some really ridiculously priced items that make you wonder who would bite on these items. Like the used and scratched $ 800.00 Key fob, that keeps getting re-listed ( wonder why) or an item like below, a $7.00 pop rivet ( 1!), I'm sure it has a Ferrari Serial number on it (not) but it does come with the optional 1 yr. protection assurance for an additional $ 3.99. I guess if you don't have an Ace hardware in your area you might be considering this....

Lets see what you come across during your interweb searches. (Fast and Loud T V show term for internet)

He most certainly does, and he was very pleasant to deal with. I added it because of what I sold it for :)

I agree. Good business 101. Someday, someone will smash up their undercarriage, and need it! I have a 250GTE block that I'm asking a lot for, maybe I'll end up on here too :)

I looked into my Mondial owners manual and noticed there are mechanical back-ups for many electric push buttons and other devices. One of these was a mechanical window crank. So I looked into my tool kit and did not see such a crank. Not only that, but the tool kit did not have a place for such and item.

Accordingly I decided to investigate for the purpose of acquiring said crank. Turns out Ferrari never provided these, at least in the US to anyone's knowledge. However there seemed to be cranks available. Specifically there was one on Ebay - supposedly original Ferrari, for $500. OK, that's fine. Someone wants an original it is worth whatever he is willing to pay for it.

But here is the perplexity. I eventually managed to acquire an aftermarket item for $100. It looks exactly like the item shown in the owners manual. Oddly, upon delivery I find no way in which it might actually work! My buddy and I plan, eventually, to fully reconnoiter the interior of the passenger door through the access hole. Fortunately, neither of my weak door window lift motors have actually given up the ghost in these three years. The passenger window lift seems to have died many years ago but has yet to receive the telegram.

    And thus we soldier on!

Just think ... if any of us had bought a box of 2 dozen key chains, we could sell them and buy a beater Mondial with the money!

I like the continues running ads in E-Ba- for Ferrari Mondial bench seat covers that fit like the originals, complete with a rear bench seat cover as well.

I have been trying to sell my B pillars which are the real deal OEM, because I sold my Mondial before I ever got around to installing them. I have listed them in the classifieds $450.0 ea plus shipping of $15.00 ea. So far no interest. Oh well some day.....:(
