Thank you Mr Massini! That's very kind of you to share your knowledge with us. On a side note, #215097 has plates from Florida (not my picture). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Damn this car looks good. BTW, videos of the BH car all show it being pushed around, off the display stand and onto the truck, simply pushed by the handlers. We just need to identify the last three cars, a blue one, a red one and a yellow one. The yellow one came through Ferrari of Houston. Maybe one of those guys can chime in on the serial number. I assume the two yellow ones were made in sequence but so far most of my assumptions have been proven to be incorrect. -F
BBR are modelling all ten and here is their view of what they look like. I assume they have details of what to model from Ferrari. Jonathan Image Unavailable, Please Login
This only shows one yellow....I think that different photo qualities caused confusion on the stripe color.. (blu v black). Unless someone knows otherwise, It doesn't seem likely that two (of 10) F60's (both Giallo) went to FOH...
There are indeed two yellow cars, one with a blue stripe and one with a black stripe and I believe both went through Ferrari of Houston. An employee from FoH is somewhat active on the site. Perhaps he can confirm. -F
Ed, your name recently came up in a conversation, and I'm interested in how you arrived at 13 F60 Americas. All 10 official examples have been identified and continue to be thoroughly documented. The maquette that debuted the model in Beverly Hills was just that - a mock-up - without any engine, running gear, brakes, VIN, etc. For all intents and purposes, it was not a real car. So it should absolutely not be counted toward the total tally of F60 Americas. With that said, that brings us down to 12 - which is still two more than the factory said they'd build (big surprise!). But what are the identities of these two mystery cars, and what are their locations. I also understand that you're fastidious in your research, so I'm eager to read your reply. Thank you.
No, I think there are just ten cars. I mixed up cars seen at the various venues over the last year or so and I made the incorrect assumption that the BH car was a running car with a VIN. But it's none of those things, only a pre-production, non-running mock up. So from what I've seen, there were only ten cars built. Surprising, I know. 215090 215091 215092 215093 215094 215095 215096 215097 215098 215099 -F
My favorite picture so far I'd love to read or watch some driving impressions of that thing... Do not forget it has a Tdf engine !!
