Another great image (also by Martyn Goddard) from the same era featuring the Prototype without front fender badges, as shown in my book. I think this was taken in 1984 whereas the image you show is from 1985.
As posted earlier, here are more ready at the works new 288 GTOs. Theres @ 20 of them, a significant percentage of the production. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does anyone have great photos the 288's seats? Both red/black and black/black? I tried a search... but turned up nothing. Let's see some nice photos of the GTO's seats (if that thread doesn't already exist). ;o) *How close to the F40 seat material is the red material on the GTO seat?
Nice. But how about close up photos? ;o) Where you can see each & every stitch. The pattern of the red cloth... etc.. ;o) I've hunted Google for nice close-up photos of the seats & found nothing. Usually you see overall interior shots. I few nice high quality close-up shots I think would be cool to see.
There are some of those earlier in the thread, especially ones taken by Martyn Goddard of the Proto. There are others taken by me of 56331. Here are some overall ones of the excellent 57223. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Close-up stitching and stamping, as seen on the PS headrest on and all-black (8500) interior, this from 56331. Image Unavailable, Please Login
