Hi Kaiser The total factory production of 400GT was 147 of which 27 were RHD of the 27 21 were UK imports. Although some of those may have found there way outside UK (Tassie old boy good on you!) regards Alastair
David good work on the numbers , it might be an insurmountable task but definitely useful, please see attached production and UK imports. I have based my numbers on cars that are confirmed on the road. So we might have to have two sets of figures confirmed and unconfirmed! Of 27 RHD cars produced I have 11 on the road worldwide, of which 4 are in the UK. 400GT RHD numbers (manual gearbox) Please ammend if you have any info. The first two you mention were on Alastair's original list (and we certainly know the second one!). As an aside, the first was once owned by Brian Clemens, the guy behind many TV series such as the New Avengers, Professionals, Persuaders, etc. He traded in the 400 for a 308 (but we all make mistakes). David
Here are few up for sale, unfortunately all without mention of the VIN, maybe it comes in usefull for your records: 1974 Ferrari 365 GT4 1975 Ferrari 365 GT4 1975 Ferrari 365 GT4 1979 Ferrari 400 A i 1983 Ferrari 400 A i 1986 Ferrari 412 A
Thanks Erwin, I have the serial numbers for a couple of these, but not all. Some you can trace through the number plates, depending on which Australian state they are registered in. If in doubt I will contact the sellers and hopefully they will tell me (some do, some don't). Regards
Hi all, anyone got an idea which car this might be? I'm wondering if it's s/n 24605... (I'm waiting for a reply from the seller, but posting here in case someone already knows the answer). http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C821941 -Ed
Hi Ed, It's 26743. It is incorrectly stated in the advert to have been originally green - hence the confusion. It was black originally, then changed to red, then its current blue. David
