figured that...this clutch wear is about average for the amount of miles on the car.
Ok - do you think it has 2-3 years on it? Here's why I ask - I own a 1984 308QV GTS. I love the car, but I want something more modern. I would LOVE a 430, and although I prefer a coupe, the Spyder is lovely. I'd consider a trade if the value for the 308 were right, I could finance the difference. Preferably, the car that replaces it is well maintained and I only drive my cars (at most) 2,000 miles per year. Let me know if you have time to discuss...I'm semi-serious about it. I'm in NJ too, so close enough to take a look.
Can you post those photos of the diffuser and bumper damage? Not like I need another Fcar but the value seems too good to pass up.
Michael. I think you misunderstood my post. Right after I got hit, Miller Motor Cars came and picked up my car and had the damage fixed. New factory bumper and diffuser. The car is as it left the factory now. It's perfect. I just stated that I can show pics of the slight damage that was done right after the bump to show how minimal and non-structural it was. And you're not kidding that this is a good value. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My apologies for lack of clarity in my original question. What I'm asking for (like many others who are serious buyers) is if you can post the photos of the damage. I understand it was fixed by MMC is as good as new in its current state. Hope I'm clear -- if not I'll PM you. Thank you.
I think the car is a steal at that price as this Monday I bought the exact same car, color, options and window sticker price exactly the same and I paid 137k and I thought it was a good deal as it only has 4400 miles based on what I had seen browsing. That being said if I would of seen this car first I would of probably bought it instead, just because its got a few extra miles (miles don't bother me) you get rewarded with 22k in the glove box compared to the car I bought. If I could return mine and buy this I would and I would be one happy camper as 115k for a car with a 253k sticker that still looks brand new has to be about the best Ferrari deal on the market right now IMO.
Plus it's got a top of the line Escort Passport (laser shifters front and rear) radar detector installed, remote valve controller, Clarion Ferrari pop out screen radio with Bluetooth, Nav, iPod control etc, and billet dead pedal. It's painful for me to list all of this and sell at this price. But the time has come. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yes...with Ferrari, wear is always read and spoken in terms or what "is worn"..not what is remaining. In this case, the clutch is 59.5% "worn", with 40.5% "remaining."
I can't believe it's not sold yet!!! One of the cleanest 430s I've seen. I wish I was on the market for one.
Absolutely stunning. My other half says one must go before I consider GLWS as I don't need to be tempted any more.
